Congratulations to Squadron 201 on their 4th consecutive QCUA.

Congratulations to C/Capt Sawyer Christman for being awarded Cadet of the Year for Group 4.

Congratulations to 1stLt Tara L Lang for being awarded Senior of the Year for Group 4.

On June 3rd of 2020, the Friends of the Poor put on a drive through food bank at Parker Hill Church in Scranton, to assist those in need during these troubling times. Some members of the Civil Air Patrol also joined along for the day to help the organization. These Civil Air Patrol members were from both Scranton’s own squadron 201 and Luzerne county’s squadron 203. All together there were about twenty Civil Air Patrol members to help with the food bank. Between the Friends of the Poor, Parker Hill Church, the Civil Air Patrol, and many other volunteers, they were able to serve food to over 1,000 families.
